These pics are shots that I took about a year ago at a photo shoot. The majority of the textiles were enhanced through surface manipulation by the designers themselves. The amount of detail in each garment was immense and to know the lengthy process behind some of these pieces was incredible. I think so often the work of designers is underestimated. Original pieces like these have so much thought, time, work, and effort put into them.

Valentine

In the Valentine's Day spirit, I collected some of my V-day inspired costume jewelry. Can't say there's not much to love about hearts, lips, rhinestones, and pearls..

Flat Studs

A Philip Lim 3.1 vest I bought a couple months ago. Completely decked in studs-it's just a cool piece.

Juicy

This leather Juicy Couture cuff was given to me by my mum. Self explanatory, I like it. It's a little whimsical and a little biker-ish; a good combo if you ask me.

All That Glitters is Gold

I had been wanting to get round nails for the longest of time, and I finally did over the weekend. I wish I remembered who the polish was by, I can't think of it for the life of me (I even googled gold glitter polish to see). It's better in person, so glittery! The bag is my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC, monogrammed (clearly). It's the perfect, basic, little black bag that I transfer from day to night.

Florals

My quick rendition of the Jimmy Choo Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign-was inspired to do it the other day while flipping through a magazine. Her position was fun to draw and I love how festive the skirt is, and of course...those shoes! Prints are always challenging for me to draw but this one was so loose that I could get away with making it my own. I realize her hand is an awful claw...clearly an area I need to work on.
